tis is funny. Ferrari's Felipe Massa wen in 4 a pitstop n da team's fuel hose got stuck while da car was on its way out frm da pit. pity Massa he had 2 stop n wait 4 his crew members 2 arrive n get da hose out frm da car. as a result of da delay, Massa lost quite alot of places n only finished 8th if im not wrong(he started da race in 1st). ohmy, wat a pity. but an F1 race wldnt b fun n exciting wifout dramas. hahaha...






i was surfing da net on F1 in Singapore wen i came across its website. i took sum tym 2 explore da website n i found a tab on 'Job Opportunities'. yup, its lyk wen u apply, u can b one of da race marshalls or ushers or watever dat is gotta do during d event itself. so i clicked on it n unfortunately da closing date 2 apply was way back in april. =.=



one of da reason was bcoz it takes afew months 4 those volunteers 2 get trained n used to b4 they cld actually hold up d event. last yr my sch, Temasek Poly, was one of afew schs in singapore 2 recruit students 2 b ushers during da F1 event. only 300 students were chosen so u'll hafta go 4 d interview 1st. usually they'll take gals more den boys n oso it depends if u got attracting looks.



so ya, my frens n i has juz ended our lesson wen we past by tis classroom wic has officials in it. pple were queing up outside da class n we were curious abt wats happening. so i approached da door n there was a piece of paper saying 'interview for Singapore F1 ushers'. i was damn, muz b exciting. summore get 2 wear da shirt free! haha... so my frens n i decided 2 queue up. not even till 10 mins, we gav up coz its reali taking up tym. plus its weird 2 c those queueing up infront of us were all gals(my frens n i r all guys). hahaha!



im so gonna apply 4 nxt season's F1 job opportunities. shall do it fast b4 april. im an F1 fan n i've alwys been interested 2 get my feet onto dat race track. even if its not driving an F1 car, being present during da race is more den enuf 2 gain experience. u get evrytink free wen ur a volunteer - meals, shirts, phototakings n oso da chance 2 mit different pple arnd da world esp gorgeous gals? im toking abt those european gals whose affordable enuf 2 buy a grandprix tickets. hehehe...



my fren's fren was one of da volunteers at last season's race. he said its fun 2 wrk there. u get 2 wrk during midnite n ensure dat no one enters da track n stuff lyk dat. interesting isnt it? and wen i asked abt da pay, it was quite huge too. $300+ in juz dat 3 days event. imagine dat. but ofcoz, u hafta wrk super hard n at d end of day its tiring but worth it.



oh wells, guess tis yr's F1 nite race i'll b watching on tv again. haha... Friday 25th Sept will b da practice session wic gonna b aired on tv too. 1st session is at 8pm n da 2nd one at 10pm. Saturday 26th Sept is da qualifying session wic starts at 8pm too. den on Sunday 27th Sept is da big day, da race itself. starts at 8pm.



mayb i'll b going out on either fri or sat n head down 2 da marina bay area juz 2 get da feel of F1 atmosphere, da burning tyres on track n da loud noise created by F1 cars. i did dat wif fadhil last yr. we wen out on sat nite(it was during fasting month) n aft we break fast, we watched da live F1 cars having their qualifying session. we only get 2 c it frm far wic was nearby Marina Square. on sum parts i cld smell burning tyres caused by friction btwn da tyres n race track. despite da sound being terribly painful 2 our ears, i still enjoyed it coz dats all part of F1. haha! dats y those entering da ticket gates were given ear plugs.
